Description
As we move through life, we tie present to the past, we invest in the future based on present circumstances, but for all intense of purposes our future becomes tied to the past. Oddly the past no longer exists but still we place all of our future on a past experience which no longer exists. So we drag nothingness into present and perpetuate the same nothingness into the future. History seems to be a learning device but sadly its nothingness gauges our actions and behaviors in the future. Now the question comes are we truly present? Surely not if we follow this process. Present only exists in the NOW, are we truly open to the now? Only in eliminating past thoughts, history, events do we truly get to being present and in that way determine a future which is clean of the quagmire debris of the past.
