Strangely, our winning and losing are only with the ego entrenched self as we spend years populating our own private worlds with more of the likeness of who we are/ who we want and/or need. Every passing day we misinterpret the innermost desire to express love in the quagmire of the unconscious where it gets caught up in the guilt and fear we suppress, only to be misconstrued into defense or attack covering the intense urge for love with a shabby veil of 'rights'.
Trusting in our own strength (the dustbin of past experiences and learned behavior stored nicely in the unconscious) instead of what love has to offer we become anxious, apprehensive and fearful, we choose to place our faith in weakness reaching for supposed safety, instead of putting our faith in love to feel the strength it returns. Born in South Africa, the environment, open spaces, and interpersonal interaction was a primary source of inspiration growing up. For me, Art is one place where desire to express and explore creativity becomes truly tangible. I am now primarily inspired by thoughts of the world we live in, the truths that we believe exist, and how we live these truths.
