Africa, endless horizons, space to seek, search and find. We come separated, searching endlessly for what seems to be an everlasting vacuum of heartache, we search for love, over and over again, we have an underlying knowingness that nothing here will fill that search, and in that we feel terribly alone. We keep digging, deeper and deeper in the hope that love will flow from some well somewhere. But the drought continues and we live in hope endlessly following the same pattern, maybe this time we will find that special one, even when we find ourselves in a relationship we may already be thinking about the possibility of getting it right next time round, a new hole, more water, greater speacialness. Following the same patterns of love-lack we repeat the cycle. If only we realize it has nothing to do with specialness, it has everything to do with unity. Tamantha Williams

Born in South Africa, the environment, open spaces, and interpersonal interaction was a primary source of inspiration growing up. For me, Art is one place where desire to express and explore creativity becomes truly tangible. I am now primarily inspired by thoughts of the world we live in, the truths that we believe exist, and how we live these truths. My work is based on human relationships and interactions in the physical and spiritual emotional context, these I question and turn upside down and then comment on it through my art. Qualifying as a Landscape Architect, I worked within this field in South Africa and Botswana and lectured at the University of Tswana in the Landscape Design module.
